About the role
Reporting to the Head of Vendor Management and based onsite at the Homebush West Corporate Office, you will manage business proposal activities for Harvey Norman’s Product Protection programs across Computers, Electrical, Furniture and Bedding.
You will;
- Lead supplier performance reviews, monitor service levels, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer and business outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to identify service issues, determine root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Drive sales growth and profitability through the development of best-practice sales strategies, training, and business support initiatives.
- Prepare and deliver accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting, along with ad-hoc analysis to support informed decision-making.
- Promote a strong compliance culture by ensuring communications, training materials, and operational practices align with relevant policies and regulatory requirements.
- Act as a key point of contact for Product Care enquiries, providing timely support, resolving escalated issues, and fostering positive stakeholder relationships.
- Maintain master data integrity and provide operational support across business initiatives, projects, and governance activities.
About you
You will have experience in a customer-facing sales role with a solid understanding of retail processes and practices. Your strong relationship building skills will complement your expertise in product sales and advising on best practices.
You will also have;
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Must hold a current valid AU driver’s licence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to facilitate meetings, drive agendas and present in a skilled manner.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and adeptness at collaborating in team environments.
- Strong negotiation skills and influencing skills.
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and deliver against overall objectives.
- Demonstrated autonomy within agreed parameters.
