I’m seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for multiple ongoing roles across the Sydney metro region. Working within manufacturing and industrial sites, you'll be joining an established maintenance team completing a mix of service, breakdown, and project work across a variety of plant and equipment. These roles offer genuine long term, consistent work with a reputable operation that values reliability and trade skill.

Systems you'll be working on:

- Conveyor systems, rollers, idlers, and drive units
- Gearboxes, couplings, and drive shafts
- Pumps (centrifugal and positive displacement) and associated seals
- Bearings, bushes, and rotating equipment
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems, cylinders, and valves
- Compressors and air handling equipment
- Packaging, processing, and production line machinery
- Fixed and mobile plant as required on site

Responsibilities:





- Carrying out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on plant, machinery, and mechanical equipment
- Responding to breakdowns and completing fault-finding to identify root causes
- Repairing, replacing, and adjusting mechanical components including bearings, seals, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, and drive systems
- Assisting with installation and commissioning of new equipment and project works
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, manuals, and maintenance schedules
- Using precision measuring tools and following correct fitting and alignment procedures
- Completing job cards, maintenance logs, and reports accurately
- Working safely around plant and equipment, including isolation, lockout/tagout, and permit-to-work procedures
- Liaising with production and maintenance teams to minimise downtime and prioritise work

Licences required:

- Trade Certificate in Mechanical Fitting
- White Card
- Working at Heights
- Confined Space
- EWP
