Tasmac Tasmania is a retail business specialising in farm machinery. They cater to various sectors including agriculture, construction, lifestyle, and specialised mowing in Tasmania. With four locations in Devonport, Hobart, Launceston, and Smithton, Tasmac offers sales, parts, and servicing of their core brands; Kubota, Massey Ferguson, Fendt, Krone, Taarup, Croplands, and Hustler.

Tasmac is currently looking for a hardworking and dedicated Agriculture Machinery/Diesel technician to join their team.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

- Carry out scheduled servicing and maintenance of tractors and machinery.
- Perform engine oil, filters, fuel-system, cooling-system and hydraulic-system maintenance.
- Inspect machinery before and after servicing.
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and associated components.




- Troubleshoot starting, fuel, cooling, lubrication and engine-performance problems.
- Conduct engine performance testing and fault finding.
- Use manufacturer diagnostic software and electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Carry out repairs to mechanical, electrical and electronic systems.
- Maintain service records and documentation.
- Use workshop tools, lifting equipment and specialised diagnostic equipment safely.
- Follow Tasmac workplace health and safety procedures.

Skills and Experience:

- Relevant Trade Qualification
- At least 1 years of relevant experience
- A keen eye for details
- Robust diagnostic and repair skills
