Resort Guest Liaison and Entertainment Coordinator:

We are on the lookout for somebody who is the "Life of the Party" to bring the amazing venue to life and deliver exciting, happy and memorable experiences to the guests that grace our shores every day.

Furthermore you will be given the opportunity to grow and round-out your resort and hospitality experience by supporting the Guest Services team in being the friendly face welcoming and assisting guest to their rooms, host tours of the resort and facilitate the sales of our amazing activities that have made Tangalooma great.

No two days will be the same as you alternate between entertaining our guests, whilst also developing skills on our Guest Services team as you further your career in the resort and hospitality management.

Who are we looking for?

- Be able to communicate clearly in English

- You are not pigeonholed to one skill, you're just as comfortable on stage as you are working in the office or out in the field

- You love working with guests and have a drive to make every guest happy

- You are highly energetic and possess the ability to build instant rapport with people from all walks of life

- You are prepared to work both night & day shifts across the week

- Ideally you would have MC skills or experience in the entertainment industry

- You have experience hosting events like trivia, bingo, or comedy nights, (or can demonstrate why you would be good at hosting such events)

- Be comfortable on stage and using a microphone

- You want to live & work near the beach and contribute to the ongoing improvements to Tangalooma Island Resort

Qualifications and Experience:

- 2+ years experience in a similar role (experience talking in front of large crowds/ microphone system)





- Have a current Queensland Blue Card & Queensland RSA, or willing to attain one (essential)

- Current drivers license

- Good computer literacy and skills on Microsoft office

- Excellent oral and written English Language communication

- Full unrestricted Australian Work Permits and residency

- You must be prepared to work flexible hours both during the day and night, public holiday and weekends

This is a live-in position with accommodation and all meals provided (Board charge applies) and the chance to grow within our organisation. Own transportation is not required as you will be living on resort premises on Moreton Island.
