Our client, Innovation Victoria, manages the Victorian Government's landmark investment fund, backing innovation and technology commercialisation to deliver economic growth, job creation, and environmental and social impact for Victoria.

This is a hands-on role for a communications professional ready to take ownership of brand and communications activity across a high-profile organisation. Day to day, you will help build and execute a multi-platform marketing and communications strategy, manage campaign delivery and budgets in partnership with external vendors, and report on the effectiveness of activity against strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the development and execution of a results-driven, multi-platform marketing, communications and community strategy that builds the organisation's brand and aligns with its goals;
- Manage the delivery of marketing, communications and community activities in collaboration with external vendors and agencies, overseeing associated budgets to ensure efficient use of resources;
- Support marketing and communications for high-level engagements, including preparing briefs, notes, slides and materials for the Chair, CEO and other Executives;
- Contribute to events and engagement activities involving key stakeholders such as co-investors, universities, researchers, government and the start-up ecosystem;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of marketing and communications systems and processes, and support broader company initiatives as required.

Key Requirements





- Proven experience identifying marketing and communication opportunities and executing activities that deliver measurable impact;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing diverse content including copywriting, briefs, emails and reports that are tailored to different audiences;
- Skilled at identifying and engaging key stakeholders, building strategic relationships and developing partnerships that deliver mutual benefit;
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, consult and influence stakeholders, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
