The Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Sales Coordinator working at the forefront of the events and hospitality industry in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.

Working alongside a high-performing and experienced Sales team, you will play a key role in securing, retaining and growing business for Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. You will support the sales journey from initial enquiry through to event handover, ensuring clients receive exceptional service and a seamless experience at every stage.

The successful applicant will be a dedicated, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with excellent organisational skills, a customer-focused approach and a strong desire to succeed and develop within the events and hospitality industry.

What you'll do

The Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Sales Team through the preparation of proposals, presentations and client correspondence, while maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.





The right candidate will share the vision and direction of the business and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service while contributing to revenue growth and business development activities.

This role demands a naturally organised, energetic and flexible individual who is accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment and can successfully manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Exceptional communication skills are critical, as you will act as a key liaison between clients and internal teams, coordinating information, supporting site inspections, maintaining accurate CRM records and ensuring a smooth transition from sales to event delivery.

What you'll bring

- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.

- Previous experience in sales administration, customer service or hospitality environments.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage positively with people at all levels.

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

- A customer-focused approach with a passion for delivering exceptional service.

- Ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing team environment.

- Confidence in preparing proposals, presentations and business correspondence.

- Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate sales records will be highly regarded.

- A proactive attitude with the ability to identify opportunities to improve processes and client experiences.
