Commercial Account Manager

South West WA | Full-Time | Field-Based Sales

Harcher is looking for an experienced, commercially driven Account Manager to join our Commercial Sales team in Western Australia.

This is an established territory with an existing customer base, but we're looking for someone who can do more than simply maintain accounts. We want someone who enjoys being in front of customers, identifying opportunities and actively growing their territory.

Harcher supplies businesses across WA with commercial cleaning, chemicals, paper, packaging, foodservice, hygiene and equipment solutions, supporting customers across hospitality, accommodation, education, government, facilities and other commercial sectors.

The Role

Reporting to the Commercial Category Manager, you will take ownership of an established portfolio of customers while developing new business throughout your territory.

Your focus will be to:

- Build strong, long-term relationships with existing customers

- Grow sales and share of wallet across your account base

- Identify and convert new business opportunities

- Introduce current products, categories and solutions to customers

- Manage your sales pipeline and customer activity

- Work with our internal sales, customer service and specialist teams to deliver solutions for customers

- Achieve agreed sales, growth and profitability targets

This is predominantly a field-based position.



We expect our Account Managers to be out in their territory, meeting customers and developing business.

About You

We're looking for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of a territory and being accountable for its performance.

Ideally, you will have:

- Previous B2B sales or account management experience

- A demonstrated ability to grow existing accounts and win current business

- Strong relationship-building and communication skills

- Good commercial judgement and the ability to identify opportunities

- The discipline to manage a territory, pipeline and customer follow-up

- Confidence working independently while contributing to a broader sales team

- Competent computer and CRM skills

- A current C-Class driver's licence

Experience within cleaning and hygiene, hospitality supplies, packaging, foodservice, facilities or a related B2B industry would be advantageous, but isn't essential for the right salesperson.
