About the Role

As a Trainee Educator, you will work alongside experienced educators while completing your nationally recognised qualification. Every day will provide opportunities to learn, grow and contribute to creating meaningful learning experiences for children.

You will gain practical experience in supporting children's learning and development while developing your knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Framework (NQF) and best practice in early childhood education.

We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, takes initiative, enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities





- Support educators in delivering high-quality education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.

- Assist with creating safe, engaging and inclusive learning environments.

- Build warm, respectful and positive relationships with children, families and fellow educators.

- Support daily routines, play experiences and educational activities.

- Maintain high standards of health, safety, hygiene and cleanliness throughout the Centre.

- Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team and contribute positively to daily operations.

- Participate in professional development, training and workplace mentoring.

- Learn about the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and early childhood best practice.

- Contribute to creating a welcoming environment where every child feels safe, respected and has a genuine sense of belonging.

About You

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable and passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young children.

You will have:

- Completed Year 12.

- A genuine passion for early childhood education and a strong desire to build a long-term career in the sector.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional team.

- Strong organisational skills and a willingness to contribute to all aspects of the Centre's daily operations.

- Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).

- Reliable transport.

- Full working rights in Australia.

Mandatory Requirements

Successful applicants will demonstrate a genuine commitment to child safety and must have:

- Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement).

- Completion of the National Child Safety Foundation Training through the Geccko platform, or willingness to complete prior to commencement.

- A commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive and respectful environment for every child.

- Willingness to participate in all required child safety screening, induction and ongoing professional learning.

All appointments are subject to satisfactory child safety screening and relevant employment checks.
