UniSQ is seeking an organised and collaborative professional to support the Women’s Injecting Services: Evidence and Reform for Needle and Syringe Programs (WISER-NSP) Project, an innovative research initiative focused on improving the safety and accessibility of services for women. You bring experience coordinating projects, programs or research activities and are confident working with a diverse range of stakeholders in complex environments.

You value respectful collaboration and understand the importance of trauma-informed, culturally safe and women-centred approaches when engaging with communities and individuals. Your strong communication skills, sound judgement and ability to manage sensitive information enable you to build trust and maintain productive relationships with project partners, service providers and people with lived and living experience.

What you'll do

As a key member of the project team, you will provide coordination and operational support across all phases of the WISER-NSP Project. Working closely with researchers, project partners and the Lived-Living Experience Project Coordinator, you will help ensure project activities are delivered effectively, milestones are achieved and stakeholder engagement remains meaningful and inclusive.

You will bring relevant qualifications and experience, along with a proven ability to coordinate projects, support research activities and work collaboratively across diverse stakeholder groups. Thriving in a fast-paced environment, you can balance multiple priorities,



maintain attention to detail and ensure project activities remain on track.

Most importantly, you possess the interpersonal skills, empathy and professionalism required to engage sensitively with women with lived and living experience of injecting drug use and other project stakeholders. You understand the importance of creating environments that are safe, welcoming, non-judgemental and inclusive, particularly for women who may have experienced stigma, discrimination, violence or other forms of marginalisation.

Experience working within trauma-informed, gender-responsive, culturally safe or lived experience-led approaches will be highly regarded, as will your ability to build trust, support meaningful participation and foster respectful relationships across research, community and service settings.

Term: Part-time fixed-term appointment to 30 June 2027 (27 hours/week)

Salary: Total remuneration range $84,269 to $91,266 pa (includes salary range of $71,068 to $76,969 pa, employer super contributions of 17% and annual leave loading)
