Floreat

GolfWA Golf Services Coordinator

Golf in Australia is growing – and so are we.

At Golf Australia, our purpose is simple: more people playing more golf.

We believe that all golf is golf, and all of us can be golfers. Whether you're swinging a club at a driving range, playing nine holes with friends, putting at mini golf with family, or dreaming of the Australian Open. We’re here to make sure golf is fun, welcoming, and accessible for all; and that starts with how we show up as a team.

We’re proud to be part of Australian Golf’s transformation, a time of unprecedented growth, innovation, and opportunity. As our game evolves, so too does our workplace. Through it all, our values shape how we show up, collaborate, and lead:

- We Welcome Everyone – Inclusion is at the heart of who we are. We’re creating a workplace where people from all backgrounds feel they truly belong.
- We Are Connected – We work as one team, supporting each other across clubs, communities, and partners to grow the game, and each other.
- We Are Courageous – We’re not afraid to do things differently. We challenge the status quo, embrace change, and reimagine what’s possible.
- We Bring Our Best – Whether we’re delivering a major championship or helping a local club thrive, we bring care, pride, and purpose to everything we do.
- We work alongside key industry partners like the PGA of Australia and the WPGA Tour of Australasia to support player pathways, from local clubs through to elite competition. We champion places to play, events at every level, and a high-performance program that helps emerging talent thrive.

At every step, we’re driven by the belief that golf is a sport for life and there’s a place in it for everyone

ABOUT THE ROLE – Floreat, Perth, WA | Part-time (4 days per week) | Ongoing

We’re looking for a collaborative and proactive GolfWA Golf Services Coordinator to help strengthen golf clubs and facilities across Western Australia and inspire more people to enjoy the game.

Working as part of the Clubs & Facilities team, you’ll support the delivery of national and state programs that help clubs thrive, improve their operations and create more opportunities for people to participate in golf.

With a particular focus on women’s and girls’ engagement (0.2 FTE), you’ll work with clubs, facilities and stakeholders to bring the R&A; Women in Golf Charter to life across WA, while helping shape initiatives that make golf more welcoming and inclusive for a broader range of participants.

This is a great opportunity to build robust relationships,

influence positive change and contribute to the growth and diversification of golf across Western Australia.

Your impact will include:

- Championing women and girls in golf, supporting venues to embrace the R&A; Women in Golf Charter and create more welcoming, safe and engaging environments.
- Building strong relationships with clubs and facilities, providing practical support and creating trusted connections across the WA golf community.
- Driving positive change across the industry, working with GolfWA, Golf Australia and key stakeholders to align local priorities with broader strategies and opportunities.
- Supporting healthy, sustainable venues, helping facilities strengthen their operations, meet key requirements and access the tools and support they need to thrive.
- Growing participation in golf, working alongside the Participation team and venues to create more opportunities for new and diverse golfers.
- Promoting integrity, inclusion and safeguarding, supporting venues to adopt national and state frameworks and create safe environments for everyone.
- Supporting regional golf, helping volunteer-led venues navigate their requirements, access support and build their capacity for the future.
- Connecting venues with development opportunities, including Western Australian Golf Foundation programs, education sessions and Clubs & Facilities events.
- Contributing to a positive, future-focused golf culture, bringing Australian Golf values and strategic priorities to life across clubs and facilities.
- Helping strengthen the profile of GolfWA and Golf Australia, ensuring clubs and facilities across WA feel connected, supported and part of the broader golf community.

You’ll bring:

- A strong connection to golf or sport, with an understanding of the WA sporting landscape and the role clubs play in their communities.
- A collaborative and adaptable approach, with the confidence to work independently, take initiative and bring people together around shared goals.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to listen, communicate openly and build positive connections with a diverse range of people.
- A practical, solutions-focused mindset, with the ability to navigate challenges,

solve problems and keep things moving.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, including the ability to manage information, data and records and communicate clearly with different audiences.
- A keen eye for detail, while keeping sight of the bigger picture and the outcomes that matter.
- The ability to manage competing priorities, stay organised and respond positively when things don't always go to plan.
- A genuine commitment to inclusion and growing the game, with a willingness to learn, contribute and bring your best to the team.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us

At Golf Australia, we know people do their best work when they feel supported – in work and in life. Here are just a few of the ways we bring that to life:

- Flexible Working – We offer hybrid work and flexible hours, we’ll work with you to find the balance that fits.
- Family-Friendly – With generous paid parental leave for all carers, we understand family always comes first.
- Wellbeing Focused – Our partnership with Acacia supports your mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing; plus in some of our offices you can access elite gym facilities.
- Opportunities to Grow – From formal and on-the-job learning, we’re all about growing together.
- Extra Perks – Enjoy free onsite parking, access to exclusive golf events, and partner discounts – all part of helping you bring your best, every day.

Still reading? We hope so. Golf, like many sports, hasn’t always felt like a space where everyone sees themselves, and we know that women and other underrepresented groups often hesitate to apply unless they meet every single requirement. But at Golf Australia, we’re committed to changing that.

At Golf Australia, our belief is simple: “All golf is golf, and all of us can be golfers.” That philosophy extends to our team too. We’re building an organisation where diverse voices, backgrounds and perspectives are truly welcomed and where people can bring their whole selves to the work we do.

That commitment to inclusion also means creating safe, respectful and supportive spaces. We are dedicated to providing a safe environment for all employees and participants - including children and young people - and we expect everyone involved in delivering golf in Australia to understand their responsibilities when it comes to child safety.

So, if this role excites you, and you feel you could contribute even if you don’t tick every box, we’d love to hear from you. Let’s have a conversation. You might be just what we’re looking for.
