Hanlon Industries is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of outdoor media, digital billboard and specialty structural steel projects across Queensland and beyond.

This is a hands-on project leadership role responsible for the end-to-end delivery of technically challenging steel structures, from design and engineering coordination through fabrication, procurement, logistics, site installation and project completion.

You’ll work closely with clients, engineers, detailers, workshop teams, site crews and subcontractors to turn complex concepts into safely constructed, high-quality structures.

What you’ll be doing

- Lead projects from award through design, fabrication, installation and completion

- Deliver digital billboards, large-format advertising structures and other specialty steel projects

- Manage project programmes, budgets, forecasting, procurement and commercial outcomes

- Coordinate engineering, detailing and technical requirements, including review of drawings and steel models

- Work closely with our Narangba fabrication team to manage production priorities and sequencing

- Plan and coordinate site works, subcontractors, cranes, access, logistics and installation activities

- Manage RFIs, variations, claims, progress reporting and contractual requirements

- Provide constructability input across design, fabrication, transport and installation methodologies

- Identify project risks early and drive practical solutions to keep projects moving

- Build solid relationships with clients, consultants,



contractors and other project stakeholders

- Ensure projects meet Hanlon’s safety, quality, environmental and ISO management system requirements

What we’re looking for

- Demonstrated experience in project management within construction, structural steel, engineering or a related field

- Strong technical understanding and the ability to interpret structural drawings, specifications and steel models

- Experience coordinating fabrication, construction and site installation activities

- Proven ability to manage budgets, programmes, variations and project commercial performance

- Strong planning, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills

- Confidence managing multiple project interfaces and resolving issues as they arise

- A proactive, accountable approach with a focus on getting projects delivered

- Qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a relevant trade pathway and experience
