Client based in Mulgrave requires a forklift operator (5 tonne) for 3 months

Your new company

Client based in Mulgrave is seeking an experienced 5 Tonne Counter Balance Forklift Operator / Yardperson to join a busy and well-established operation for a 9-12 week assignment. This role will involve operating a 5 tonne forklift as well as assisting with a range of yard and storeperson duties to support daily operations

Your new role

- Operating a 5 tonne forklift safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Moving and storing large, bulky products (12m long x 3 wide)
- Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
- Receiving and checking incoming goods
- Stock control and inventory management
- General warehouse housekeeping
- Assisting with other storeperson duties as required

What you'll need to succeed





- Current LF Forklift Licence
- Proven experience operating a 5 tonne forklift or larger and moving large items up to 12m long
- Previous yard experience - essential
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks to a high standard
- Reliable transport and a robust work ethic
- Good communication skills and attention to detail

What you'll get in return

- $37 per hour + Super
- Mon - Frid 7am - 3.30pm
