About the role...

We have a rare opening in our retail team looking after our Western Sydney venues - Accor Stadium in Sydney Olympic Park and CommBank Stadium in Parramatta.
As Retail Operations Coordinator, you'll support the day-to-day running of our QSR outlets, from setup through service to breakdown, ensuring every shift runs efficiently and every customer leaves happy.
You'll report to the Head of Retail, and this role does require flexibility for evening and weekend work, in line with event schedules.

What You'll Be Doing...

Operations

- Help oversee daily QSR operations, including operational planning, outlet setup and readiness, service and breakdown

- Coordinate equipment and infrastructure needs and maintenance

- Monitor performance on the ground and troubleshoot issues as they come up

Customer Service

- Keep customer service standards high, every shift

- Handle inquiries, feedback and complaints promptly and professionally

- Work with the team on ways to keep customer satisfaction climbing

Compliance & Safety

- Support compliance with ISO standards across safety, quality and environmental sustainability





- Help implement GEMA's Integrated Management System (IMS) policies for retail and food safety

- Carry out regular inspections and audits to keep hygiene and safety standards on point

Team Support

- Support and empower retail staff, and help build a positive, inclusive team culture

- Train new team members on procedures, customer service and safety

- Coach and guide staff to help them perform at their best and identify training needs

Quality Control

- Keep an eye on food quality and presentation for consistency

- Help manage inventory and minimise wastage to control costs, focusing on FIFO management.

- Work closely with the culinary team on food prep and service standards

Communication & Collaboration

- Be the link between retail staff, management and other departments

- Liaise with procurement and suppliers to keep inventory on track

- Support promotions and marketing initiatives that drive sales and engagement

Continuous Improvement

- Spot opportunities to improve processes and efficiency

- Help roll out new procedures, policies and systems as the business grows

What You'll Bring...

- Previous experience in retail operations, ideally in food and beverage or QSR environments

- A hands-on leadership style, lead by example and maintain high levels of professionalism.

- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with a sharp eye for detail

- Great communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills

- The ability to stay cool under pressure and adapt when priorities shift

- A genuine commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction

- Current RSA Certificate

- Current Food Safety Certificate

- Current Food Safety Supervisor is advantageous but not essential.
