Are you a passionate hospitality leader with proven experience in leading high-performing teams? We are seeking a motivated and driven Assistant Venue Manager to join the leadership team across our Quarterdeck and Splashbar departments on a permanent full-time basis.

The Role
As our Assistant Venue Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional service. You’ll take charge of delivering a remarkable guest experience, guiding our team with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to excellence. Your leadership will be vital in upholding our high standards and continuously elevating the guest experience.

About You

- Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality, Retail, Business, or related field (desirable)
- Minimum three (3) years industry experience at a managerial level
- Demonstrated experience leading, developing and mentoring a team
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Statement of Attainment
- Current Responsible Management of Licenced Venues Certificate and Approved Manager’s Licence
- Demonstrated experience responding to and resolving disputes relating to the Responsible Service of Alcohol
- Demonstrated understanding of restaurant and bar practices
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer and wines
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers and guests
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure




- Willing to obtain Current Statement of Attainment for Pool Lifeguard Award and First Aid / CPR Certificate.
- Professional presentation and exceptional communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends, nights and public holidays
