ACCOUNT MANAGER

A fantastic prospect has arisen for an Account Manager at our Samios Browns Plains branch. We are seeking an enthusiastic team oriented person who is well organized and shows attention to detail to take on this full time role currently available.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, your duties include (but not limited to):

- Cross counter sales for domestic and industrial contractors.

- Quote preparation.

- Maximising branch sales and profitability.

- Planning and implementing strategies to generate and grow sales.

- Maintaining account and call plans including activity.

- Monitoring product pricing and trading margins.

- Capitalising on sales and margin opportunities, supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.

- Keep up to date of best practices and promotional trends.

- Preparing/ processing customer orders and expediting goods to site.

- Managing and maintaining customer relationships and expectations.





To be considered for this role it is essential that you possess the following qualities:

- Plumbing knowledge or trade background.

- Demonstrated experience in field sales, territory management and maintaining call plans within a wholesale or trade sales environment.

- Ability to multi-task is a must.

- Well-developed organisational, planning and prioritisation skills.

- Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills.

- Excellent communication (verbal and written).

- Previous sales experience, promoting Industrial, Residential, and Commercial product ranges as well as experience building partnerships with key accounts, specifiers, consultants, and plumbing contractors.

- Aptitude to learn and understand our product range.

- Current and valid Driver’s License.
