About the role

SA Framework is seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our growing team in Adelaide. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality carpentry and construction work across a range of residential and commercial projects. Working closely with the project team, you will interpret plans, construct and install building frameworks and fixtures, and ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of workmanship, safety, and compliance. Key responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.

- Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.

- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials.

- Assemble and fasten materials to make frameworks or props using hand tools and power tools.





- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.

- Ensure projects are completed according to building codes and safety standards.

- Work collaboratively with other team members and contractors.

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

- Contribute to a positive team culture by providing mentorship and guidance to junior carpenters.

About you

- Minimum AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV or Higher in carpentry or in a relevant field

- Minimum 1 year full-time or equivalent work experience in a related field

- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, plans and specifications

- Strong working knowledge of timber framing, joinery, cladding and finishing techniques applicable to residential & commercial renovations and extensions

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship

- Current driver's licence (desirable)

- Excellent communication
