Engineering Applications (ENAP) is a Brisbane-based engineering and construction firm, with over 40 years history in design, fabrication, installation and maintenance of process plant & associated facilities across a diverse range of industries. ENAP has a QBCC Open Builder's Licence to undertake the construction work activities in industrial and manufacturing applications.

Due to an increase in workload we are looking for an experienced Senior Structural/Civil Engineer to join the Design team in our growing business at our main site at Hemmant.

To be successful in this role you are required to have;

- Formal Structural / Civil Engineering qualifications that are recognised by Engineers Australia with RPEQ registration with the Board of Professional Engineers QLD;
- 10 + years' experience as a Structural Engineer predominantly in the industrial and manufacturing sectors;
- Thorough knowledge of industry Codes of Practice and Australian Standards and National Construction Code of Australia;
- Demonstrated design experience of reinforced concrete for footings and foundations, concrete structures (in-situ and precast) and structural steel for industrial facilities & buildings, platforms and supports for mechanical equipment;
- Apply a solid understanding of Geotechnical and associated Civil Engineering principles (piling and subgrades for pavements and roadways);




- Ability to devise and deliver practical and economical solutions to a variety of applications;
- A good understanding of construction methods, procedures, and the design constraints they present;
- Ability to work on multiple projects at any given time in a multi-disciplinary working environment;
- High-level problem-solving capabilities with an ability to implement solutions;
- Ability to rapidly understand and assimilate project and client specific requirements whilst working directly with Project Managers;
- Exceptional time management skills including the ability to manage a diverse range of tasks:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong attention to detail and technical documentation.
- Strong computer skills including, Spacegass, Microsoft Suite of Programs and experience with AutoCad programs (Inventor / Revit/ Advanced Steel) are preferred;
