About the role

Corporeal Health are an accredited Workplace Rehabilitation provider, delivering injury management and physical rehabilitation programs to organisations throughout Western Australia. Our rehabilitation plans combine clinically evidenced strategies and local knowledge tailored to the individual to assist in overcoming the challenges of workplace injury. Our full-time employees enjoy a 9-day fortnight (every other Friday off) and a work life balance that works for them. This position is open to full-time and part-time applicants.

Key responsibilities

- Develops, coordinates and delivers an injury management service to support injured workers to return to gainful and meaningful employment.

- In consultation with the injured worker, employer and treating doctor; plans, develops, implements and monitors individual return to work programmes ensuring that services are provided within programmes.

- Assesses and interprets the impact of the employee strengths and barriers to achieving employment and identifies and coordinates interventions to address the barriers. Uses professional skills to identify complex cases and ensure appropriate strategies are implemented to progress case management.

- Builds and maintains effective relationships with internal and external parties involved in each case, including employers, referrers, medical practitioners, other allied health professionals and other key stakeholders. Liaise with the insurer,



medical practitioners and other professionals to ensure all parties are consulted regarding the client's individual rehabilitation program.

- Provides specialist technical advice to key parties on the care of injured workers to ensure best practice and compliance with legislation.

- Contributes to planning, development, implementation and evaluation of policies, strategies and continuous improvement initiatives in relation to injury management practices.

- Actively maintains knowledge of best practice and benchmarks for injury and workers' compensation management.

About you

- Tertiary Qualification as an Exercise Physiologist, Physiotherapist, Occupational therapist or Psychologist.

- Appropriate professional registration with an accredited body (eg. ESSA, AHPRA etc.)

- A current and valid Drivers Licence

- Experience providing Injury Management Services within a Workers Compensation, ComCare and non-comp setting.

- The ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

- Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, understanding, and to contribute to the continual improvement of our team and services.

- Shared responsibility and individual accountability according to Corporeal Health's Policies and Procedures.
