About the role

Timberzoo is looking for a driven, customer-focused Sales Team Member to join our team. You will work in a relaxed, friendly setting with a focus on good customer service, working with quality recycled Australian native hardwood products including recycled timber flooring and decking, recycled wharf timber posts & beams, and landscaping materials.

Key responsibilities

- Manage customer enquiries and orders, handling the complete sales process from inquiries and quotes to logistics and picking & packing

- Build strong customer relationships and establish long-term connections with new and existing clients

- Offer competent guidance on the range of timber products

- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering, replenishment and stock management

- Support marketing initiatives including managing Timberzoo's presence on various platforms (website, Instagram, Facebook, etc)

- Identify new sales opportunities, pursue leads, and convert first-time customers into loyal customers

- Handle customer inquiries, provide accurate quotes, and negotiate terms





- Follow up with both new and existing customers to understand their needs and position products to solve their specific challenges

About you

- Proven sales experience with a successful background in sales and a track record of exceeding targets

- Natural ability to build long-lasting customer relationships

- Customer-first mindset with ability to tailor your approach to each client's needs

- Strong communication skills to engage with a wide range of customers including building design professionals, building trades, homeowners and DIYers

- Ability to effectively explain products

- A genuine interest in sustainability and recycled timber

- Self-motivated with ownership mentality and drive to achieve results

- Strong organizational skills to keep the sales process running smoothly and ensure timely follow-ups
