Your Impact

Are you an electrician or technical specialist looking to take your career off the tools and into a role where you can influence the customer experience?

As our Lifestyle Technical Specialist, you'll be the technical expert supporting the products and technologies that help turn a house into a home. From lighting, heating and cooling, skylights and ventilation through to security, connectivity and smart home automation, you'll play a key role in helping customers create homes that suit their lifestyle.

Working closely with our Lifestyle team, suppliers, trade partners and construction stakeholders, you'll provide technical leadership, support innovation and ensure customer selections are practical, buildable and delivered to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities:

- Act as the technical expert across lighting, electrical, heating and cooling, skylights, security, connectivity and smart home solutions
- Support consultants and customers with complex technical requirements, product selections and tailored lifestyle solutions
- Deliver training, coaching and technical guidance across the Lifestyle team
- Partner with suppliers, contractors and construction teams to achieve quality customer outcomes
- Review plans, documentation and customer selections to ensure accuracy, compliance and buildability
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, products and the customer experience
- Stay across emerging technologies and help introduce innovative lifestyle solutions into new homes





What We're Looking For

- Strong technical knowledge gained through electrical, HVAC, smart home technology or residential construction experience
- Experience interpreting residential plans and technical documentation
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts in a simple, customer friendly way
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working with suppliers, contractors or trade partners
- A proactive problem solver with exceptional attention to detail
- Experience coaching, training or supporting others to build technical capability
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- An electrical trade qualification will be highly regarded, making this an ideal prospect for an electrician looking to transition into an office based technical role
