Parts Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking an organised and customer-focused Parts Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing parts operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, and delivering excellent customer service. You will work closely with customers, suppliers, and workshop staff to ensure parts are sourced, ordered, and supplied efficiently while maintaining a safe and skilled workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Answer incoming calls and greet customers and suppliers in a qualified and friendly manner.

- Assist customers with enquiries and provide parts information and support.

- Identify, interpret, and source parts to meet customer and workshop requirements.

- Process point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately and efficiently.

- Liaise with suppliers regarding parts availability and delivery timeframes.

- Follow up on delayed orders and keep customers informed of progress.

- Order, receive, label, and organise incoming stock.

- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stocktakes to ensure accuracy.

- Maintain an attractive, clean, and up-to-date showroom presentation.

- Ensure the workspace remains clean, safe, and compliant with workplace health and safety policies and procedures.





About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

- Experience using point-of-sale and inventory management software, such as Mechanic Desk or similar systems.

- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.

- The ability to prioritise tasks and perform effectively under pressure.

- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

- Well-developed problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
