Exciting ongoing contracting opportunity for an experienced Rehabilitation Consultant to work with a successful, friendly and dedicated provider in the South Brisbane region.

- Established NSW / QLD service with a contractor-only model (no permanent staff) – work alongside some of the country’s top Consultants

This successful rehabilitation provider is seeking a contracted Rehabilitation Consultant (EP / Physio / OT) to take on a varied workplace rehabilitation caseload within the Workcover QLD scheme. In your role, you will be working collaboratively with your client to achieve return to health and work outcomes in a safe and timely manner. This role is highly flexible and autonomous – you will be working alongside a team of highly skilled and professional contractors.

This contracting opportunity is open to experienced and confident professionals with a robust desire to assist their clients in achieving positive outcomes – return to health and work. You will have excellent rapport building skills and be confident in conducting assessments and case managing your clients.

You will be responsible for the following:

- Completing assessments - Worksite assessments,



Functional Capacity assessments

- Writing Suitable Duties plans

- Return to work case management of your clients

- Liaison with key stakeholders.

- Working closely with a solid employment services division.

- Completion of high-level written reporting.

Requirements:

- Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology or Occupational Therapy (with relevant registration with AHRPA or ESSA).

- Previous occupational rehabilitation experience – minimum of 3 years

- Recent experience with QLD Workers Compensation cases

- The ability to work effectively on an independent basis

- Positive and client-centred qualified with excellent communication skills in a remote setting

- Australian Business Number (ABN) or Australian Company Number (ACN) & Professional Indemnity insurance - or willingness to gain.
