About the Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a Commercial Analyst to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, covering a parental leave period.
This role plays a key part in supporting technology procurement, contract management, vendor engagement and financial operations. Working closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers and finance teams, you'll help drive efficient processes, provide commercial insights and ensure the smooth management of procurement and payment activities across the technology function.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing procure-to-pay activities, including purchase orders, invoice reconciliation and receipting
- Supporting technology contract administration and maintaining contract renewal schedules
- Providing administrative support, reporting and data management across the team
- Monitoring and triaging service requests and stakeholder enquiries
- Maintaining procurement records and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
- Supporting supplier management activities and building strong vendor relationships
- Identifying process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and performance
- Analysing financial and commercial data to provide insights and improve outcomes
About You
You're a highly organised and detail-oriented professional with strong commercial acumen and a customer-focused mindset. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment,
building relationships with stakeholders and identifying opportunities to improve processes and outcomes.
You will bring:
- A background in procurement, commercial analysis, accounts payable, finance operations or a similar role
- Hands-on experience with Coupa or other financial/procurement systems
- Exposure to contract management processes (Icertis experience desirable)
- Advanced Excel capabilities and proficiency in Microsoft 365
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business or a related discipline is preferred but not essential
- Process improvement experience or exposure to methodologies such as Six Sigma would be highly regarded
