About the role

The Systems & Process Trainer's prime responsibility is training current starters and experienced technicians alike on the systems and processes that keep the business running smoothly, both in the office and out in the field. The Trainer splits their time between designing training content and being on the road with technicians, ensuring what's taught in a session actually sticks on the job, and is accountable for consistent systems adoption across all branches.

Key responsibilities

- Design and deliver structured onboarding training on FVS's systems, tools and processes for new starters, both office and field-based.

- Run refresher training sessions with existing technicians and office staff.

- Travel regularly to branches and job sites to train and support field technicians directly on FVS's systems and processes.





- Ride along with technicians to observe systems usage in real conditions and coach improvements on the spot.

- Drive consistent adoption of FVS's core systems (e.g. Uptick and other field service platforms) across all branches.

- Identify gaps in systems usage or process compliance during field visits and address them through targeted coaching.

- Support the rollout of new systems, tools or process changes with hands-on field training.

- Build and maintain training materials, SOPs and reference guides for FVS's systems and processes.

- Own the onboarding training journey for new starters across systems and processes, from day one through to full competency.

- Be the go-to resource for systems and process questions from technicians and office staff across the business.
