The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving inbound deliveries, moving incoming materials to their appropriate location, and fulfilling/shipping customer orders. The Warehouse Associate routinely unloads inbound shipments, unpacks, visually inspects, and moves inventory from receiving and quality hold areas to the physical stocking location within the warehouse and performs system transactions to document inventory movements. The Warehouse Associate also regularly pulls and packs materials, constructs appropriate containers for customer orders, generates transportation documents, coordinates logistics, and loads outbound trucks.
Key responsibilities
Efficiently pick and pack orders according to customer requirements
Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stocktake
Operate Forklift
Unloading and loading of delivery trucks
Maintain a high level of accuracy
Provide support to Customer Service team when required
Updating delivery information - Data Entry
Maintaining warehouse in a clean and orderly manner
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
About you
Previous experience in a warehouse workplace is a requirement
Forklift Licence and experience operating is mandatory
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Basic computer skills
Minimum of 2 year of hands-on experience in a similar role in a manufacturing setting
Minimum of 2 year forklift experience
High school education or equivalent
A valid driver's license and solid driving record
