Ballarat Miner's Retreat Motel

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Motel All-Rounder to join our friendly team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work, and delivers excellent customer service.

As an all-rounder, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the motel, ensuring our guests have a comfortable and hassle-free stay.

Key Responsibilities
Provide friendly and skilled customer service to guests
Handle check-ins and check-outs, bookings, and phone/email enquiries
Perform housekeeping duties including cleaning rooms, making beds, and restocking supplies
Maintain cleanliness of common areas and outdoor spaces
Assist with laundry duties
Carry out basic maintenance tasks and report any issues




Ensure the property is presented to a high standard at all times
Support other team members as required

About You
Previous experience in a motel, hotel, or hospitality role preferred
Robust work ethic and ability to work independently
Friendly, positive, and customer-focused attitude
Positive attention to detail and organisational skills
Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
Physically fit and able to perform cleaning tasks
Basic computer skills (for bookings/check-ins)
Valid driver’s licence (preferred but not essential)
