Agile Arbor Pty Limited is based in Kelso NSW, Australia. We specialise in all aspects of vegetation management, including residential, commercial, Government and Transport NSW work. This includes tree removal and stump grinding activities, roadside tree removal and pruning and dangerous tree removal within rail corridors.

We currently hold Government contracts throughout the Greater Sydney region, the Blue Mountains and the Central West.

We are seeking an employee with experience in the tree industry, to work as an Arborist in a full time position. We currently have 2 vacancies available within our company.

Remuneration for this role is $80,000 plus superannuation.

Your duties will include:

· Treatment, pruning, shaping and/or felling of trees and hedges using hand saws and chainsaws to maintain and care for trees and shrubbery

· Advising of appropriate times to use insecticides and fertilisers and attending to same

· Insect and disease management using appropriate chemicals

· Removing dangerous, dead, or decaying trees and limbs

· Investigate health and condition of trees and assess necessary treatment

· Advising on matters such as species selection and location





· Undertaking risk assessments and advising on management of the same

· Liaison with other parties such as town planners and environmental consultants where necessary

You must hold the following skills and qualifications to be considered:
Certificate III in Arboriculture (including at least two years of on-the-job training) or Certificate IV in Arboriculture, or international equivalent.
If you do not old an appropriate qualification, you will need at least 3 years of relevant arboriculture experience.
NSW White Card (or willingness to obtain).
Experience operating wood chippers.
Experience operating excavators or similar machinery in a tree work environment would be advantageous but not essential.
A truck licence would be advantageous but not essential.
