Savwinch is an Australian marine equipment manufacturer based in Tullamarine, designing and building anchor winches, drum winches, capstans and related products for customers across Australia and around the world.

We were named 2026 AIMEX Exporter of the Year, we hold patents in multiple countries, and we are growing. We are a small, close-knit team working across three states with head office in Melbourne, where your contribution is visible and no two days look the same.

About the role

This is a genuinely wide-ranging role. One moment you will be entering a customer order, the next preparing a financial report, booking international travel, or greeting a customer at reception. You will need to move quickly, prioritise well, and be comfortable taking ownership of a task from start to finish.

Key responsibilities
Providing executive and administrative support to the leadership team
Supporting the sales team with order entry, quotes and customer follow up
Preparing basic financial reports, and analysing and commenting on the numbers
Booking domestic and international flights, accommodation and travel itineraries
Front of house reception, including greeting clients and visitors,



answering calls and first line customer service
General administration such as correspondence, document preparation, filing and maintaining accurate records
Identifying problems early and resolving them before they escalate

What you will bring

Essential

A solid finance background, with the ability to produce and interpret basic financial reports

Previous experience in a sales support or sales assistant role, including order entry

Proven administrative experience in a busy, quick paced workplace

Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to short deadlines

A proactive, solutions focused approach. Someone who anticipates rather than waits to be asked

A professional and welcoming front of house manner

Confident using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Desirable

Experience with Xero

Experience with a CRM or inventory system. We use Zoho

Experience in manufacturing, marine, or another product based business

Experience using AI
