About the role

Southside Dental Group is looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Dental Assistant/ Receptionist to join our agile team in Richlands, QLD. This is a casual position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced dental practice environment.

What you'll be doing
Chairside assisting during general and surgical dental procedures
Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining infection control standards
Sterilising and processing dental instruments
Taking and preparing dental X-rays as required
Assisting with impressions, scans, photos and other clinical procedures
Preparing instruments, materials and equipment for appointments
Supporting dentists during patient treatment
Providing friendly and professional patient care
Cleaning and maintaining surgery areas
Helping with general reception and administrative duties when required

What we're looking for
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational and time management abilities




Proficiency in using dental software and computer systems
A friendly, patient, and professional demeanour
A genuine interest in the dental industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
