As a Casual Educator, you will work across different age groups and support the permanent team in providing protected, engaging and high-quality education and care.
Key responsibilities
Building positive and meaningful relationships with children
Engaging in play, learning experiences and conversations
Supporting daily routines, meals, rest times and transitions
Maintaining active supervision at all times
Assisting with setting up and maintaining inviting learning environments
Working alongside Room Leads and educators
Following individual care, medical and behavioural support plans
Supporting a positive, respectful and fun workplace for children and educators

Reliable and punctual
Flexible and comfortable working across different rooms
Proactive and willing to jump in and help
Warm, nurturing and confident with children
A solid team player
Qualified and respectful
Committed to child safety and active supervision
Able to follow routines, policies and directions
Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or actively working towards an approved qualification
Current Blue Card
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications, or willingness to obtain/update as required
Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard
Availability to work casual shifts across operating hours
