About the role

The Plumber & Gas Fitter will be responsible for delivering high‑quality plumbing and gas services across residential, commercial, and remote NT locations. This role involves maintenance work, recent installations, and gas system servicing, ensuring all tasks meet Northern Territory safety and compliance standards.

You’ll work both independently and as part of a supportive team, managing a wide-ranging workload that includes scheduled jobs, project work, and occasional emergency call‑outs. The position requires strong problem‑solving skills, a professional approach with clients, and the ability to adapt to different environments — including remote community work when required.

Key responsibilities
Diagnose and repair leaks,



blockages, fixtures, and hot water systems across residential and commercial sites
Install, test, commission, and maintain gas appliances and pipework in compliance with NT regulations
Complete rough-ins, fit-offs, drainage, and pipework for new builds and renovations
Attend urgent call-outs including burst pipes, gas leaks, and hot water failures
Travel to regional NT locations to deliver essential plumbing and gas services
Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to NT building codes, and follow all WHS procedures
Communicate clearly with clients, provide professional advice, and ensure high-quality workmanship
Work alongside other trades, apprentices, and supervisors to deliver projects on time
