About the role

As a Service Technician, you'll be the face of ASSA ABLOY in the field, providing expert service, maintenance and installation support for industrial roller shutters and entrance solutions.

Key responsibilities
Planned and preventative maintenance of industrial doors and entrance systems
Diagnosis, repair and servicing of equipment in the field
Installation and commissioning of industrial roller shutters
Conducting safety inspections to national and local standards
Identifying and recommending repair and upgrade opportunities
Working closely with technical support and sales teams
Participating in a rotating after-hours on-call roster
Building robust customer relationships through qualified service delivery

About you
Fabrication, sheet metal or welding experience
Practical electrical experience/electrical qualifications (highly desirable)
Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills
Experience working with industrial machinery or equipment




Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems under pressure
A proactive and safety-focused mindset
Confidence working independently in the field
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Current Australian Driver's Licence
Forklift and Scissor Lift licences (desirable)
Comfortable working at heights
