Are you an experienced leader with a passion for quarry operations, safety, customer service, and continuous improvement?

We are seeking a dynamic Quarry Manager to lead our Moama Sand operation and drive operational excellence across all aspects of the business.

About the Role

Reporting to the Area Manager, you will have full responsibility for the safe, effective, and profitable operation of the quarry.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will:
Lead and develop a small, high-performing team.
Operate mobile plant and processing equipment as required.
Manage production, processing, maintenance, and logistics.
Drive operational targets and continuous improvement.
Manage budgets, costs, forecasting, and P&L.;
Ensure health, safety, environmental, and legislative compliance.
Oversee quarry development, rehabilitation, and maintenance.
Build robust customer, contractor, supplier, and community relationships.
Identify sales opportunities and support business growth.
Promote a strong Zero Harm culture.

About You

You will have:
Experience managing a quarry, mining, extractive, or heavy industrial operation.




Robust leadership and team development skills.
A hands-on approach to operations.
Experience managing budgets, KPIs, and financial performance.
Knowledge of quarry operations, mobile plant, and production processes.
Solid customer service and communication skills.
A commitment to safety and environmental responsibility.
Relevant qualifications are desirable.
A current Driver's Licence.
