Meys Meats is looking for a 1st or 2nd Year Apprentice Butcher to join our growing team.

We’re a busy, fast-paced butcher shop and are looking for someone who wants to build a career in the meat industry, learn the trade properly and become part of a strong team.

About the role:
Full-time position
Immediate start available
Hands-on training across all aspects of the butchery trade
Learn meat preparation, cutting, trimming and portioning
Making value-added products and preparing customer orders
Working as part of a busy production and retail team
Opportunity to develop your skills as the business continues to grow

We’re looking for someone who:
Is currently a 1st or 2nd Year Apprentice Butcher,



or is keen to begin their apprenticeship
Has a strong work ethic and is reliable
Is willing to learn and take direction
Enjoys working in a fast-paced setting
Takes pride in their work
Works well as part of a team
Has a genuine interest in becoming a qualified butcher

Pay: $30,000.00 – $40,000.00 per year
