Store Manager: Bing Chillin Glen Waverley

Bing Chillin is Melbourne's home of bingsu and waffles, served in a bright social space where people come to hang out. We've grown from one store to four across Melbourne plus a location in Malaysia, and we're looking for a Store Manager to take the reins at Glen Waverley.

About the role

You'll own the day-to-day running of the Glen Waverley store: the team, the product, the numbers and the guest experience. You'll report directly to the owner and work closely with the managers and staff at our other sites.

Glen Waverley trades heavily in the evenings and on weekends, with a young, social customer base and a large student cohort in the team. Getting the roster, the energy and the service right at peak times is the core of the job.

What you'll be doing
Lead, train and roster a team of casual and part-time staff
Run open and close, manage peak-period flow and keep wait times under control
Hold product standards for every bingsu, waffle and drink
Manage labour cost against sales, and review daily and weekly performance
Oversee ordering, stock rotation and waste tracking
Maintain food safety compliance,



cleaning schedules and store presentation
Recruit, onboard and develop new team members
Roll out new menu items, seasonal specials and promotions in line with the brand
Handle guest feedback and online reviews

What you'll bring
Experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Manager in hospitality, café or dessert
Confidence leading a young and diverse team
Solid grip on rostering, labour cost and stock control
A hands-on style approach
Calm under pressure with a solutions-first approach
Availability across nights, weekends and public holidays

Job Type: Full time
Pay: $68,000 – $78,000 per year + superannuation, depending on experience

Pay: $68,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
