Flooring & Shelving Business | Casual → Permanent Chance

We are looking for a reliable, motivated and customer-focused Retail Assistant to join our growing flooring and shelving business.

This position will initially be offered on a casual basis, with the opportunity to move into a permanent role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
Attend to in-store customers and assist with product enquiries
Provide basic product information and prepare customer orders
Manage and process online orders
Check and confirm customer payments
Prepare and issue invoices and sales documentation
Answer phone and online customer enquiries
Coordinate customer pickups and order collections
Assist with general showroom and warehouse duties
Forklift operation, including loading and unloading stock
Assist with stock receiving, checking and organisation
Maintain a clean and organised showroom and warehouse

What We’re Looking For
Valuable customer service and communication skills
Basic computer skills and confidence using online systems




Good attention to detail when handling orders, payments and invoices
Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
Comfortable working in both a retail showroom and warehouse environment
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Forklift licence preferred
Previous retail, flooring, shelving, building materials or warehouse experience would be an advantage
