We are looking for an experienced and reliable Psychosocial Support Worker to support a participant in the Bankstown area.

Hours: 3 hours per shift, 3 times per week

The successful applicant will have experience supporting participants with psychosocial disability and be confident providing 1:1 support, including:
Supporting and prompting with self-care and personal hygiene
Providing verbal prompts, guidance and direction
Assisting the participant to complete daily routines and task
Encouraging independence while providing appropriate support
Supporting community access and participation where required




Following the participant’s support plan and maintaining qualified boundaries
Recognising and responding appropriately to behaviours or changes in presentation

Requirements:
Previous experience working with psychosocial disability
Robust communication and interpersonal skills
Patient, reliable and proactive approach
NDIS Worker Screening Check and relevant compliance requirements
Current First Aid/CPR preferred
