We are seeking a registered pharmacist to join our team on a casual basis, specialising in the preparation of customised compounded medications for our patients. You will work in a well-equipped compounding lab within a patient-focused community pharmacy.
Key responsibilities
Prepare non-sterile compounded medications (creams, capsules, troches, liquid formulations) in accordance with Australian pharmaceutical compounding standards and pharmacy protocols.
Verify prescriptions, check for drug interactions, and provide clinical advice to patients and prescribers.
Maintain strict quality control, documentation, and calibration of compounding equipment.
Ensure compliance with TGA guidelines, GMP principles, and state pharmacy board regulations.
Support the broader dispensary team during peak periods as needed.
About you
Current registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA (no conditions).
Proven experience in pharmaceutical compounding (non-sterile essential).
Attention to detail and solid aseptic technique.
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient-centred care.
Versatile availability to cover shifts across weekdays, weekends, and peak holiday periods.
