Optima Press, one of Perth’s leading printing companies, is seeking an experienced Print Estimator / Job Planner to join our team at our Balcatta premises.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced printing professional to become part of a dynamic team and play a key role in managing jobs from quotation through to production.

The Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for:
Preparing accurate and competitive customer quotations
Planning and coordinating print jobs from start to finish
Liaising with customers regarding job specifications and requirements
Coordinating with suppliers to obtain pricing and manage materials
Working closely with the sales and production teams
Ensuring jobs are planned efficiently, accurately and within required deadlines
Providing practical solutions to production and print-related requirements

About You

We are looking for someone with:
Previous experience in print estimating and/or job planning
Strong knowledge of offset and digital printing processes




Sound knowledge of print finishing processes
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Strong communication and customer service skills
The ability to work effectively with sales, production, suppliers and customers
A positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team
The ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting

Experience using PrintIQ software would be highly regarded, but is not essential.
