Construction Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced, driven and reliable Construction Supervisor to join our team. This role is suited to someone who can take ownership of projects, lead a crew and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate workers and daily site activities
Lead the team and maintain a productive work setting
Organise daily tasks, materials, machinery and equipment
Read and understand construction plans, drawings and specifications
Ensure works are completed correctly and to a high standard
Monitor project progress and keep works on schedule
Communicate effectively with management, workers, subcontractors and clients
Conduct pre-starts, toolbox meetings and site safety checks
Ensure WHS requirements, SWMS and company procedures are followed
Identify and resolve site issues as they arise
Maintain a clean, organised and secure worksite
Provide guidance and training to less-experienced workers




Report project progress and any issues to management

Current Australian driver’s licence
Current Construction White Card

Experience

Previous experience in a supervisor, leading hand or similar construction role is highly regarded. The successful applicant will be someone who leads by example, takes responsibility and can keep a crew working safely and efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

Pay: From $45.00 per hour
