Aurora Dairies are currently seeking an Assistant Farm Manager for a dairy farm in Parkham. This farm is Ideally located 20 minutes from Deloraine and 50 minutes from Launceston.
The farm is approximately 185Ha milking 560 cows, through a 40 a side herringbone shed. This farm is 100% Spring calving beginning in mid- August.

This role will include tasks the areas of:
Supporting the farm manager as second in charge.
Driving and upholding Animal Health and Secure Operating Procedures.
Herd management and nutrition, including calving, hospital herd care, AI/mating planning, dairy shed work and more.
Irrigation and pasture management.
Supervising staff.
Machinery operation.
Repairs and maintenance.
