Danton Group Australia is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Factory Worker to join our busy fabrication workshop in Kirrawee. We are looking for a reliable and skilled tradesperson with hands‐on experience in light gauge sheet metal fabrication who can work independently and contribute to a productive team environment.

This is not an entry-level position. The successful applicant will have proven workshop experience, strong attention to detail, and confidence operating sheet metal machinery.

Key Responsibilities

Perform sheet metal folding using pan brake equipment
n
Measure, mark out and set up sheet metal work
n
Read and work accurately from measurements and dimensions
n
Carry out general light gauge sheet metal fabrication
n
Operate forklifts as required
n
n
Required Skills & Experience
n
n
Previous experience in light gauge sheet metal fabrication
n
Solid measuring and fabrication skills
n
Experience operating workshop machinery
n
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
n
Working with aluminium, galvanised steel, Zincalume and stainless steel sheet metal
n
n
