We have a fantastic opportunity for a Practice Nurse (Registered Nurse) to join our team at Woodford Doctors on a Full Time basis.

Doctors at Morayfield is home to 6 skilled GPs and an experienced support team of Nurses and Receptionists.

n

With a focus on Care Plans and patient support, our ideal candidate will have experience with Chronic Disease Management and robust interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will need to be highly motivated with a sound background in patient care, and be able to adapt to an ever-changing setting and industry.

Nursing tasks are varied and examples include:

n
Chronic Disease Management
n
Triage and management of acutely unwell patients
n
Immunisations of children and adults
n
Wound care
n
Health assessments including workplace medicals
n
Assisting with minor procedures
n
Results notification and patient education
n
Cold chain management
n

Requirements:

n
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n




Previous experience working in general practice and/or emergency preferable
n
The ability to work both independently when required and cohesively within a team environment
n
A warm and friendly personality with a commitment to working as a part of a team of professionals
n
Dedication to the provision of the highest standard of nursing care
n
Exceptional attention to detail
n
Proficient computer skills (experience with Best Practice not essential but highly regarded)
n
Strong communication and time management skills
n
