Are you an experienced Telecommunications Field Technician looking for your next permanent career move?

We're looking for a Senior Field Technician to join a leading telecommunications provider in Cairns. You'll enjoy plenty of variety, autonomy in the field, and the opportunity to continue developing your technical skills with an established industry leader.

The Role: You'll install, maintain and repair telecommunications services across residential and business customer sites, working across fibre, copper and HFC technologies.

Your responsibilities will include:
Diagnosing and resolving network and service faults
Installing, maintaining and repairing telecommunications services
Cabling, jointing, splicing and testing
Managing your daily field workload and priorities
Providing excellent customer service onsite
Completing field documentation and job records
Maintaining high safety and quality standards

About You
Current ACMA Cabling Licence – essential




Current Australian Driver's Licence – essential
Previous telecommunications field experience
Experience with fibre, copper and/or HFC networks
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capability
Comfortable working independently in the field
Robust communication and customer service skills
Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
