Marketing / Social Media Expert and Parts/Inventory Controller

Diesel Australia is looking for a motivated, organised and hands‐on person to join the team at Slacks Creek in a wide-ranging role combining marketing, social media, online sales and parts/stock control. This is a outstanding chance for someone who enjoys variety, is confident working independently and wants to be part of a friendly, established team.

Key responsibilities

Creating and posting online advertisements for stock
n
Managing and updating listings across Facebook, social media, website, eBay and other online platforms
n
Assisting with online marketing campaigns and promotions
n
Taking photos and preparing stock for online advertising
n
Keeping online stock listings accurate and up to date
n
Managing parts and stock on hand
n
Inventory control and maintaining accurate stock records
n
Conducting regular stocktakes
n
Working with the wider team to ensure stock is advertised and managed efficiently
n

About you

Motivated, reliable and well organised
n
Comfortable with computers, social media and online platforms
n
Able to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
n
Equally comfortable working as part of a team
n
Good at keeping track of stock, details and competing priorities
n
Willing to learn and get involved in different areas of the business
n
Holder of a current manual driver's licence
n
Experience with social media, online advertising, eBay, websites, marketing or inventory/parts control would be highly regarded
n
Knowledge of diesel parts, automotive parts or the transport industry would be an advantage
n

Diesel Australia is an established business based in Slacks Creek. We operate Monday to Thursday and are closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday, giving a genuine three-day weekend every week.
