Topfloor Group is a Queensland-based tiling contractor specialising in high-quality residential and commercial wall and floor tiling projects. We are committed to delivering outstanding workmanship, reliable service and secure work practices across a wide range of construction projects.

Location: Gold Coast, QLD, with work across various project sites in Queensland and Northern NSW

n

Employment Type: Full time (40 hours per week)

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
Review project plans and specifications, measure and mark surfaces, and establish set-out lines before commencing work.
n
Prepare wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout and adhesive, repairing holes and cracks, cleaning, levelling, screeding, and applying primers and waterproofing membranes where required.
n
Install waterproofing systems in accordance with Australian Standards, manufacturer specifications and project requirements.
n
Measure, cut and shape tiles, and install wall and floor tiles ensuring correct alignment, spacing, levels and high-quality finishes.
n
Apply grout, silicone sealants and finishing materials,



complete trims and movement joints, and clean finished tiled surfaces.
n
Inspect completed work, identify and rectify tiling defects, and carry out repair and maintenance tiling where required.
n
Calculate material requirements, maintain tools and equipment, and work safely in accordance with WHS requirements and company policies.

Requirements

Qualifications

n

Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling or an equivalent trade qualification.
n

n

Experience

n

n
At least 1 year of relevant wall and floor tiling experience.
n

n

Skills and Attributes

n

n
Solid knowledge of waterproofing and tiling techniques, including cutting, grouting, and sealing.
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
High attention to detail with a focus on delivering quality work.
n
Good communication skills and the ability to interact with clients professionally.
n
A can-do attitude, solid work ethic, and commitment to workplace safety.
