Gippsland RV and Marine are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Small Engine Mechanic to join their team in Bairnsdale VIC. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:

n

n
Detect and diagnose engine faults and repair or replace defective parts on small engines
n
Testing the performance of marine engines and electrical systems.
n

n

Carrying out services and minor repairs on outboard, inboard, and ship engines. Conducting plumbing and intake repairs

n

n
The capacity to perform maintenance services such as to ensure smoother running of unit and ensure compliance with pollution regulations and refers to service manuals as needed.
n
Able to Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanical components.
n




Dismantle and reassemble engine and parts after being repaired.
n
Using diagnostic tools and testing parts
n
Positive written and verbal communications skills
n
Solid diagnostics capabilities
n

Skills and Abilities:

n

n
Certificate III in
n

n

Small Engine Technology or equivalent

n

n
Ideally have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a qualified
n

n

Small Engine or ATV/Motorcycle Mechanic

n

n
The ability to work in a team setting
n

n

Salary range is $75,000-$90,000pa commensurate with experience Fulltime Position available Applications open on 21st July 2026 and closes on 21st August 2026
