The Role

n

Three Blue Ducks Bellingen is looking for an experienced Assistant Restaurant & Events Manager with a strong bar focus to support the Venue Manager in leading daily front-of-house operations. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll help drive smooth service, support team development, and ensure consistently high standards across both restaurant, bar & wedding & events service.

You'll be confident on the floor during busy service, comfortable across bar operations, and able to lead a team with calm, clear direction in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing

n

n
Supporting daily FOH and bar operations to ensure smooth service
n
Leading service from the floor during busy periods, delivering warm, consistent guest-focused hospitality
n
Assisting with rostering,



stock control and venue administration
n
Coordinating and working on weddings and events to ensure they run smoothly and seemlessly
n
Supporting training, onboarding and development of FOH team
n
Working closely with the kitchen to ensure robust service flow
n
Maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
n
Assisting with cash handling and daily reporting
n

What we're looking for

Experience in a supervisory or assistant management role
n
Solid bar and beverage knowledge
n
Confident leading teams in a high-volume environment
n
Calm, organised and solutions-focused under pressure
n
Strong communication and team leadership skills
n
Passion for hospitality, food and guest experience
n
Team-oriented, hands-on approach to working with FOH and BOH
n
RSA certified (or willing to obtain)
n
