Seeking an experienced Short Term Casual Enrolled Nurse

Seeking an experienced short term casual (3-day week) Enrolled Nurse, Immediate commencement.

n

We are a very busy private practice specializing predominantly in varicose veins in East Melbourne. We are seeking an experienced Casual Enrolled Nurse, for immediate start.

n

Your duties will involve:

n

n
Pre-procedure calls/post procedure calls as per protocol. Scouting for Doctor procedures;
n
Patient set-up, including: completion of consent forms, taking and uploading of clinical photographs (learning the photographic system) and medical compression stocking measurements;
n
Procedure set-up as per clinic guidelines;
n
Post procedure patient education and assistance with compression stockings;
n
Cleaning of equipment and reinstatement of treatment rooms post-procedure;
n
Medical stock control - ordering and maintenance of medical supplies and stocking of treatment rooms;
n
Co-ordination of patient flow;
n
Ensuring upcoming patient appointments are appropriately booked according to their treatment plan.
n
Triage and recall patients.
n
Wound dressings as instructed.




n
Additional duties include;
n
Using Genie Medical Solutions software to: book patient appointments, invoice patients, process referrals and reschedule appointments (further training will be provided).
n
Dual system digital and paper medical record system;
n
Manual file preparation, manual scanning of paper files to the digital record;
n

have positive and skilled communication skills;
n
be honest with a hardworking and positive attitude;
n
be reliable and punctual;
n
hold medication endorsement as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse;
n
possess current AHPRA registration;
n
have a minimum of 3 years nursing experience;
n

n

Preferable working days Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays.

n

To assist and cover/ relieve front desk staff and other staff as required.
