They are now looking for a warm, experienced Room Leader to take the lead in their Baby Room - someone who understands the unique needs of the youngest children and has the skill, patience, and passion to create a truly nurturing setting where babies feel safe, settled, and ready to grow.

What Our Client Is Looking For

n
Level 3 Early Years qualification or above - essential
n
Previous Room Leader experience - strongly preferred, ideally within a room
n
A deep understanding of the developmental needs of babies and very young children
n
Naturally calm, nurturing, and patient - with a genuine love for working with this age group
n
Confident leading a room team and communicating warmly and regularly with families
n
Committed to maintaining the highest standards of care and practice

Key Responsibilities

n
Leading the day-to-day running of the Baby Room with warmth, consistency, and confidence
n
Creating a calm, stimulating environment that supports the developmental needs of babies at every stage
n
Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities that encourage sensory exploration and early development
n
Building solid, trusting key person relationships with babies and their families
n
Observing and documenting developmental progress in line with EYFS, sharing updates meaningfully with parents
n
Mentoring and supporting room-based staff, acting as a positive and consistent role model
n
Contributing to the nursery's Ofsted Outstanding standards and wider team culture
n
